Big Girl Beds

This is the beginning of the end...here are the girls in their last day in "baby beds". HK went to a toddler bed and Matney got a big girl bed. They were so very excited but I am sure feeling like my babies are growing way to quickly!

I also repainted that framed box about M's bed for the 10+ time since she has been alive. I cannot ever find a color that works but this time I think I got it right! Her new bedding has teal and takes some of the "pinkness" out of her room.

In case you didn't know, helping Daddy put together a bed requires a princess costume and a magic wand.

Will add finished room photos tomorrow. Sorry, Sassy. They are on my phone and I can't get them to upload right now!

Refinish project

Easter 2012 - con't

What a difference 16 hours makes...we went from Easter dresses to a TowMater costume in a short amount of time. At least we know Robot will always be included. We went to a Saturday night service that our church did this year so went spend Sunday at home playing together.

It was a beautiful day. We washed cars.

We painted in the garage.

We rode trikes and relaxed under trees.

Then we got on swimsuits and got ready to play in our new hopscotch sprinkler that HK got from the bunny.

We also made our Easter birds nests. The girls sure do love chocolate! It was an awesome day at home together. Jared and I spent time talking about how very blessed we are and how thankful we are for all that the Lord has done in our lives over the past 7 years.

Easter Morning

Easter 2012

Happy Easter 2012! If HK was going to be in the picture so was Robot. The longer I have been a mom the more I sure have learned to pick my battles.

These girls were not interested in pics with mom or dad.

Chomps!

Meet Chomps! He is HK's "crocogator" and he lives in a "cage" under my craft desk. HK makes sure he is well fed. I have tried to move him to her room but he always shows back up. Silly girl!

Rescue

she is hard to see in the background but the princess has been rescued by spidergirl. Everyone rest well right now.

Trading

The girls have been so loud and not helpful for a headache that I think I will travel with Robot and Bunny from now on!
Just kidding, well not about their loudness, we cleaned the car seats today. They were sooooo gross and nasty. The fabric cleaned up in the wash and then I scrubbed the seats. I am seriously shocked that we haven't all died from some horrible bacteria because they were so disgusting. We have friends who don't allow their kids to eat in the car and I have never understood how they could pull that off. After seeing those seats I may need to figure it out! Before the seats went back in the car several of critters in the house got to go for a ride.

Picture day

Halle Kate dressed herself for picture day this morning. Robot shirt, towmater socks with one crocogater shoe, so that christmas towmater could be all the way in the picture on the other foot, and no pants because she wanted to show off her towmater pullup. Needless to say this is NOT what she ended up wearing to school but it took a lot of bribing to get her changed!

Do they look innocent?

Do these two look innocent? Nope, they are cute but they are trouble! We just got home from school and found that Max had eaten a bag of tortilla chips and a block of cheddar cheese...which I found odd since I assume Max cannot open the pantry or fridge. Upon interrogation HK confessed. I was going to the gym after I dropped the girls off so Max couldn't ride to school with us. Apparently HK was worried about him being lonely so she left him her favorite snack, chips and cheese. Max says this makes up for all the times she has tried to ride him like a horse or pull his eyelids off.

Also, I am temporarily turning blog duties over to Jared unless I can do it from my phone. I am on week 3 of a migraine that every medication and steroid shot can't seem to fix. Looking at the computer is miserable. Sorry for not posting more pictures recently!
