ok, so Matney didn't really love Santa. In fact, up close, she hated him! Halle Kate didn't seemed fazed by him, she was just excited to be out of the stroller.
Matney recovered with the help of a candy cane from Mr. Claus. The whole way home she held her candy cane (in the wrapper, no worries she couldn't choke!) and said "Mmmm, candy cane. Thank you, Santa". What a sweet girl!
Jared got to look at tools so he was happy too!
As long as we are near a Bass Pro Shop we will always go there to see Santa. He is beautiful! We got there just before 10am this morning, right when Santa arrived and we had an hour wait. By 11am when we got our pictures taken the wait was almost 4 hours. Crazy, huh? Thankfully, you can "sign in" when you get there and they tell you what time to be back so you don't have to spend hours in line. We highly recommend heading over there even if the mall is closer.
