We got our Christmas tree this weekend. It was nice to go when it was cold out and finally not hot. I reminded Jared that in a few years we were going drive to the tree farm, sipping hot chocolate and cut down our own tree while singing Christmas carols. ha! Jared was less than excited!
All that work and I never took a picture of the whole tree. It doesn't matter because it wouldn't look the same today. We only put plastic balls on the bottom few feet and the girls put them on and take them off many times a day. HK just lays them onto a branch, throws her hands up and says "did it!!!". She's so proud. Yesterday, after Matney had been playing with the tree for a while, she came and told me she needed a cookie and Dora because she was "tired from all that decorating." ha!
